About Sean Donnelly

Having spent 20 plus years managing a popular restaurant in Port Credit and being heavily involved in raising money for several local charities, Sean had a tremendous opportunity to get to know the people, the neighbourhoods and community of South Mississauga. He has always had a passion for business and enjoys building and maintaining relationships, so real estate was an obvious choice for him. Sean’s ability to listen well and understand the smallest of details will prove to be an asset when selling your home or helping you buy a home. Sean really loves spending time with his family and friends and takes extreme joy in watching his son grow up.

In his spare time he will be caught on the golf course or enjoying quality time up north at the cottage with his friends and family.

Sean Donnelly led his team brilliantly throughout what thankfully turned out to be a short campaign to sell our Condominium suite in what still appears to be a difficult condo market. From the outset it was clear he was committed to selling our property for the best possible price and as quickly as possible. 

He listened carefully to our concerns and requirements and crafted a marketing strategy with a range of exposure for the listing that far exceeded our expectations or experience from selling previous homes. He introduced Every Little Detail and the capable hands of Janna and Larissa. Their staging was nicely understated but captured and enhanced our lifestyle and environment. This made the photographer’s job a little easier we think and the quality of their joint efforts is evidenced in the eventual list package. Lucky for me, I met an amazing guy named Sean Donnelly on June 14, 2019. I was quietly looking to downsize but stay in my neighbourhood and he showed me a house that really did work for me…..but  

my son wasn’t ready to move a few streets over so it was a no go! I immediately felt at ease with Sean and his super easy going attitude and his eagerness to get to know me and figure out what my son and I needed in our next home. In a few short minutes I felt like I made a new friend. This guy got me!

My check list was super specific. Side story….I asked to see a home outside of my area and he patiently took me there anyway. He knew…..I probably wouldn’t venture that far but as always met me with a smile and a great perspective. Over the next few years…..yes years…..Sean would check in with me to see how life was going and only sent me properties that he knew might spark my interest. I came close a few times and without fail he kept being patient with me. I just wasn’t ready to make the leap.

Last summer…..three years after we first met…..I texted Sean about a listing. Great minds think alike and he had found one even better. We walked in and the search was over. This new home checked off all of the boxes and then some! Even though I knew it was the house for me panic set in. Was I ready to finally downsize? Ever so patient……Sean waited in the wings for me to take a few days to get up my courage…..never judging me….being the amazing friend he had become to me and gently nudged me there. We finally did it!

Then came the sale of my home. So much noise around me telling which direction to go towards and I was going a bit crazy. Sean was just a calming voice amidst the chaos. He and the Regan Team put their best foot forward and helped me through the next big chapter to get my house ready. Wow ! What a group of professionals!! Sean’s associate Jen would check in and encourage me along the way. They offered to help me with all the little things. I have three little dogs so showing my house was going to be tricky. They made sure it always worked for me and tried always to take the pressure off of me. They did everything they said they would do and beyond! Their marketing skills are unbelievable. Other houses were sitting on the market for weeks…..my house was flooded with traffic and had several offers within five days. Two weeks later, the deal was firmed up and I breathed a huge sigh of relief.

As the time to closing and moving got closer Sean would check in to say hi and offer his help on the little things that needed to get done. I felt his total support along the way. I can’t believe a chance meeting on June 14, 2019 has guided me to my perfect home. Sean is an amazing sales rep and friend. I would recommend him and his team over and over. I couldn’t be any happier with the whole process.

My experience with Sean Donnelly as my real estate agent for the sale of my home was fantastic. Sean was able to have photos of my place done quickly so my home could get listed in a short span of time. He discussed with me the safety protocols for showings during Covid 19.

He communicated with me daily when showings would take place and always made sure the timings worked for me. Through the sale of my old home and the purchase of my new home with my partner we had so many questions as this was all new to us. Sean was amazing every step of the way. He responded to all of our questions very quickly.

During a time of social distancing he was very professional and was able to get me a state of the art 3D virtual tour of the home I was selling to help make the sale in only 5 days!! He is an excellent negotiator as he was able to get me what I wanted for my old home and was able to get us our new home for under asking! Never judge anyone until you have walked a mile or two in their shoes.

As a child, what did you wish to become when you grew up?

A detective. The influence for that actually came from watching a movie called The Goonies over and over again!.

Your dream vacation? Worst vacation? Best vacation?

Best vacation ever was actually my honeymoon in Italy!. I’ve never eaten so much pasta, cheese and bread in my life. Let’s just say the gym was the first thing on my mind when i got home!.
